Maintenance of Bike Trails
Salt Lake County should help fund the maintenance of the bike paths in Corner Canyon.

Our Corner Canyon biking trails are used by thousands of county residents. Therefore, Salt Lake County should help pay for the maintenance of these trails. This would emancipate city monies to maintain many more trails throughout our city.

I would also like to see more Hoof and Boot trails in the redesigning of the new Master Plan for Draper. These added trails are where hikers with small children and horseback riders can enjoy our mountains without the fear of being hit by a biker.

I would convince Salt Lake County that helping Draper maintain some of our bike trails is in their best interest. Our city trail system will be available for all Salt Lake County residents, not just Draper residents. I will meet with Mayor McAdams and his park staff to convince them that maintaining Corner Canyon trails is in the best interest of Salt Lake County.
